(I liked really the quotation that you gave. I feel as I live my life by this quotation. Sometimes I want to forget right away. It is funny that its a lot of bad memories that remain with us for our life but a lot of good memories disappear)

Beckett's En Attendant Godot was probably the most-profound play I saw (some Shakespearean productions came close and certainly many of the Bard's plays surpass Godot, to my eye). So I'm a huge fan. Now, to this remembering issue. As one member of a narrative species, particularly one who works to capture narratives, I find memory such a fascinating subject. I'm coming to believe that most of my life probably didn't happen the way I've constructed it for myself and others. I don't mean I've lied purposely...just I'm not sure what's gone down and what hasn't.

Great exchange, Alex and Chelsea.
